Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer the message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard server logs can record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and visit times. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How We Use Information
These limited records help us operate the service, diagnose errors, count visits, and improve the content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Placer County and California offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information sent to one of those destinations is controlled by that destination's policy. The same distinction applies to sponsored results supplied by a third party.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, but otherwise do not distribute visitor data.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since there are no visitor accounts, Rocklin People Search holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from a minor. Contact us if you believe someone under 18 submitted personal data, and we will remove it.
California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives qualifying consumers rights that can include knowing, deleting, or correcting personal information and opting out of its sale or sharing. Relevant provisions include California Civil Code ยงยง 1798.100, 1798.105, 1798.106, 1798.110, 1798.115, 1798.120, 1798.125, and 1798.130. Because we retain little visitor data, a request will usually be limited to contact messages or server logs. Submit one through the Contact page. Records held by Rocklin, Placer County, or California offices are outside our control, so a correction or removal request for an official record belongs with its custodian.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will appear here when changes are made. Continued use after a revision signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
